For his accomplishments, Ean has been recognized by:
- The Southern Poverty Law Center (Wall of Tolerance) for writing on human
rights issues across the globe, donating proceeds from the sale of his books
to such causes , and working on the economic enhancement of the United States
minority community through support of minority business councils as well as economic
development and stabilization of several African nations (2005)
- Tau Kappa International Fraternity (Grand Prytanis Medal—a distinction
given to such notables as Charles Walgreen and the late Ronald Reagan) for contributions
to his profession and community (1995)
- Tau Kappa International Fraternity (Grand Prytanis Key Leader Award) for
writing and implementing a Leadership Academy in place today and modeled throughout
many organizations across the globe (1994)
- The 12th Annual Writer’s Digest International Book Awards rating of
5 of 5 in all four categories for Mainstream/Literary Fiction (2005) for Reach
to the Wounded Healer
- The BarnesandNoble/KBRT-TV4 August 2004 Book-of-the-Month for Reach to the
Wounded Healer
He was also a:
- Gulf Oil Research Fellow,
- inducted into Nicholls State University Hall of Fame,
- graduated as a Nicholls State University Magna Cum Laude Graduate,
- lettered through service to the Nicholls State University Athletic Department
- and, inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
Ean has also received recognition through inclusions in numerous editions
of:
- Outstanding Young Men of America,
- Who's Who in the United States,
- Who's Who in the World,
- Who’s Who in American Education
- and, Who’s Who in Among Business and Industry Executives.
These are due in part to articles written and published, programs developed
and implemented, and contributions made to several of America’s non-for-profits
on the local and national level.
